His 13-part adaptation of Primo Levi’s The Periodic Table, starring Henry Goodman and directed by Emma Harding and the late Marc Beeby was repeated on BBC Radio 4 earlier this year.

His award-winning adaptation of B. S. Johnson’s famous ‘book-in-a-box’ The Unfortunates, starring Martin Freeman and described as ‘riveting’ by The Observer was repeated last year on BBC Radio 3 and released as a Smartspeaker app for Alexa, allowing the listener to randomise the order in which they hear the chapters. It was directed by Mary Peate and won a BBC Audio Award for Innovation.
